What do you get if you put some nerds together with a hot blonde who isn't that smart and take out food? Indeed, a hilarious comedy show with diverse personalities. First of all we have three nerds with a doctors title: Dr. Rajesh 'Raj' Koothrappali who works as a astrophysicist at Caltech. He has a problem with women, a bigger problem than his other friends, he can't talk with women without having alcohol. After that there is the craziest of them all - well not crazy, his mother had him tested - Dr. Sheldon Cooper, the smartest of them all, and a theoretical physicist who finds many routine aspects of social situations and life in general rather difficult to understand and navigate. The last one with a doctor's title is Dr. Leonard Hofstadter, the normal one, in comparison with the other three. He is an experimental physicist who has a troubled relationship with his mom. And last, but certainly not least, well he has no Doctor's title - but he went to space for God's sake! - Howard Wolowitz. He is an aerospace engineer and lived for a long time with his mother until he met his wife.

The guys are accompanied by their neighbour Penny -put in surname- who wants to be an actress, but to actually pay her bills, she is a waitress at The Cheesecake Factory. She usually relies on the guys for free food and she dates Leonard Hofstadter. Later in the show, she gets some female company, who also have a doctor's title: Dr. Amy Farrah Fowler, a neuroscientist, who came in the lives of the others, as Sheldon's perfect mate after an online dating profile of Sheldon (set up by Raj and Howard). She wants an intimate relationship with Sheldon, but Sheldon isn't really into that kinky stuff. The last one is the wife of Howard: Dr. Bernadette Rostenkowski who is a former waitress of The Cheese Cake Factory and currently a microbiologist. She may be not that tall, but if she is angry; you should run!
